Mrs. Levasseur, our neighbor, great family friend and founder of Au coeur de la pomme, makes the best ham in the region with just two ingredients. A simplified classic that is as easy as 1-2-3!

Ingredients

  • 1 ham (approximately 2 kg), with or without bones from Selby Farn

  • 2 L (8 cups) H77 Apple juice

Preparation

  • Bring everything to the boil and simmer for 2 hours until the ham is very tender.

  • Serve with mashed potatoes and/or roasted vegetables.
